Maple Hardwood Floor Refinishing Minneapolis

Adhesive on Maple Hardwood Floors
These floors were in pretty bad shape, but what’s new? Almost all the floors we work on are in bad shape. That is why the owners hire me in the first place; to fix their hardwood floors. The pictures you see are two and a quarter inch maple. This is a old one story in South Minneapolis.

The house had a lot of potential, it just needed some TLC. After we got done it really made a huge difference. Once the walls and the trim get painted in this place I think it is going to be a very cute house. The floors had old adhesive from tile or linoleum. The adhesive can be really difficult to remove. People call me up and they want it sanded down. Most of the time it is not a problem.

I take my machine that weights almost 300 pounds and start sanding. Sometimes you can get lucky when your dealing with adhesive on hardwood floors in Minneapolis. Because there was linoleum on the floor the hardwood floors can actually get protected from damage. Once we got the first couple layers of wood up it really turned out nice. The owner was very happy and that is my goal on every job. I try my best to describe how I think the floors will look like when I am done and what expectations the owner should have. It is a really great feeling when we can exceed their expectations. Thanks a lot for your business and let me know if you have any hardwood floor refinishing questions.
