Water Damage Oak Floors

See the little black spots on the wood? That is water damage. When the wood gets wet and if it stays wet for a long period of time then it will discolor. The longer the water is on the wood, the more likely the darker it will get. Sometimes black spots can be from pet urine, which you’ll know when you start smelling piss after to start sanding away. Usually, if its black like this, then your not going to be able to get the stain out completely. The stain has soaked all the way through the wood and our only going to take off about 1/16-1/8 of an inch when your floor sanding in West Hollywood Los Angeles.
