1920s Maple Hardwood Floors with Stains Minneapolis
We sanded these floors on Friday. It was a house in North Minneapolis that was being used as a rental. The owners had done a buff and coat, but that didn’t really help the look. We only do buff and coats on floors that are in really good shape. These floors had urine stain, water damage, and stains from carpet padding all over the place. It was just a small living room, but it needed to be cleaned up before it got put back on the market. So we went in there and started sanding. One downside about sanding this floor was that it was very un level. We had to go back and spot sand a lot of areas to get the finish off our Hummel floor sander couldn’t remove because the spots were too low.

1920s Maple Floor Refinished with Water Stains
Look at the floors refinished now. They are not perfect but they look a lot better then a buff and coat. These are 1920s maple hardwood floors. Maple can be a tough wood to sand because it is hard and a lot of times the floors are in older house that are un level and have really thick finishes that gum up our paper. But we got it cleaned and the owners are happy. We refinish 1920s maple hardwood floors in Minneapolis all the time in. We work in North Minneapolis, South Minneapolis by Lake Nokomis, and even a lot of floors close to Lake Calhoun. So give us a call.
